Promotional Games - Terms and Conditions for UK and ROI Residents

  • All promotions are independent competition promotions and are not connected in any way with the publication in which they are found.
  • Cards/tickets altered or tampered with in any way will be declared void.
  • To play you must be 18 or over (or 16 or over where specified) and a resident of the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland if specified, and have the permission of the person who pays the telephone bill to call. Proof of age may be required.
  • No purchase necessary. If you require a claim number by post write enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope to the ‘Dept PCN’ address (as shown on your gamecard) to the respective address below. Do not enclose your gamecard. One claim number will be issued per request within 28 days of receipt. The claim number is valid for one entry only. Max two claim number requests per promotion, per household. Multiple cash claims on the same promotion will not be valid. In such cases the higher value prize will be fulfilled. Prizes will be dispatched within 10 working days of the closing date of the promotion.

  • Queries regarding competition entries must be received within 30 days of the closing date. A Certificate of Postage is not accepted as proof of delivery. Entries lost, delayed, illegible or insufficiently stamped will be declared void.
  • We strongly advise that you keep a copy or scan or photo of your game card and/or ticket.
  • If you’ve won a prize with a stated value of £500/€500 or more, please email support@purelycreative.com so that we can make arrangements for you to submit your valuable ticket using a secure postal service at our expense.
  • Claims for all other prizes should be sent to the Freepost address on the claim form but do please keep a photo, copy or scan of both sides of your ticket and your claim form.
  • Gifts are subject to availability and will be dispatched within 28 days of receipt of your application. In the unlikely event that an advertised gift becomes unavailable an alternative of equal value will be dispatched.
  • Any entry without a valid claim number will be declared void. The Manager’s decision is final.
  • Valid claims for top prizes, as specified on your card, will be verified in writing. Allow 4 weeks for the delivery of all other prizes.
  • Promotions are open to the UK, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands (& ROI where stated).
  • In the unlikely event of the number of claims received being greater than the number of prizes available for any level, the prize fund for that level will be shared equally, except in the event of printer/technical errors where the cards will be declared void.
  • For an enlarged list of rules write enclosing an SAE. A full list of winners is available 28 days after the close of the competition. Write enclosing an SAE to Winners List Request, Purely Creative Ltd. at the respective address below:​

  • Purely Creative Ltd.' employees, relatives, friends, and associated companies are not eligible to enter.
  • The number of major prizes available is as stated on promotional material. Prizes are subject to availability. Purely Creative Ltd. reserves the right to substitute any prize for another of equal or higher value. All cash prizes will be paid by cheque made payable to the winning claimant only. Names and regions of high value prize winners will feature in post promotion publicity. Entry into the competition means acceptance of the rules.
  • Text and call costs and duration are as specified on the card.

Our cookies

Purely Creative Ltd. only uses cookies (last cookie audit 24th May 2012) which meet the exception criteria and that are ‘strictly necessary’ for the website to performance efficiently and function correctly (e.g. to identify your shopping basket).

 

Cookies that our website uses are:

  • Session (PHPSESSID): Is used to keep track of items in your shopping cart.
  • Analytics (_utma, _utmb, _utmc, and _utmz): These cookies are set by Google Analytics which we use to collect anonymous and statistical information on how our users interact with our website.

  • YouTube : We may embed videos from YouTube using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. What information is collected?

Each time you view a Purely Creative Ltd. web page we may store web server logs which show your IP address – the Internet number used by your machine when connecting to the internet – or the IP address of the web proxy you use. We may also store other information including what you looked at, which browser was used and if your page request was successful.

If you register your details with us for competitions/mailing lists or if you contact Purely Creative Ltd. through the site, the following information will be collected: your name, age and email address. We may ask for your home address or phone number in connection with competition prizes and/or Customer Services queries.

 

So what does Purely Creative Ltd. do with web log information?

This data is used purely for statistical purposes. It allows us to access how the site is used and the areas of particular interest, which pages are being requested that no longer exist and how many hits /page requests we get. All of this data will allow us to make improvements to the site.

 

How long does Purely Creative Ltd. keep this information?

The original logs are destroyed after a two month period. We will process the logs into statistical form on a daily basis.

 

Are there any other ways you track the pages I look at?

We may occasionally use ‘tracking tags’ which are small images on a web page. When you look at a web page containing one of these tags a web log is updated showing this.

We use these to track the traffic on selected areas of the site, in particular Customer Services. Again, this information is used purely for statistical purposes.

 

Does Purely Creative Ltd. share the web access log?

We will not share any information collected from your web access log with anyone outside of Purely Creative Ltd.. It is possible that we may occasionally supply aggregate statistical information to third companies for statistical analysis purposes only. Purely Creative Ltd. will never release information about the activities of an individually identifiable person or IP address except in response to a court order or if we are required to do so by law.

 

Are personal details released?

Your personal details will not be sold, rented or passed on to any third party outside of Purely Creative Ltd. unless it has been agreed to during any registration or query process. You will always be offered the option to opt out of your data being used by anyone, even Purely Creative Ltd..

With your permission we will only share the information with carefully selected and trustworthy third parties.

 

How secure is my personal data?

Any data that we collect from the site is stored in a secure environment which is protected from unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental loss or destruction. This applies to everything we collect.

 

How might Purely Creative Ltd. use my email address?

We may collect your email address when you submit a query to us via our website, contact us directly by email or submit your email address in any other form. We use this information to ensure our records are up-to-date and improve the efficiency of our service.
